An attempt to balance stress

I’ve been thinking a lot lately of the circle of control. Basically, what we can control in our lives and what we cannot, and how those things impact us. I’ll focus on a few thoughts and my own circle of control, and see if you can relate.

When I think about things that typically stress me out, it’s usually issues that I have absolutely no control over. On a lighter scale, it’s people’s opinions. I realize that everyone will have their own opinions about me, political issues, and so on. However, I cannot not control any of that. For instance, if people don’t like a social media post that I made, such as this one, or it doesn’t get any “likes” it is something that is out of my circle. More serious things are childhood trauma.
